Worst stay of my Bali trip
I absolutely loved the design of the villa. It is beautifully built, thoughtfully designed, and equipped with all the modern amenities one could ask for. When we arrived, we were genuinely impressed and excited about our stay.
Unfortunately, by the end of our trip, we were completely regretting our decision to stay here.
My stay at this villa was extremely disappointing and one of the worst accommodation experiences I have had.
We stayed at the property for 3 nights, yet not a single cleaning service was provided during our entire stay. Despite this, at checkout the caretaker approached us in an aggressive and disrespectful manner, claiming that we were leaving the villa in a "pathetic condition" and attempted to charge us additional fees.
I made it clear that no housekeeping had been carried out for three days. It is unreasonable to expect guests to maintain the property to a freshly cleaned standard when the villa management fails to provide the basic cleaning services that were expected. Had we caused damage to the property, additional charges would have been understandable, but that was not the case.
The caretaker's behavior throughout our stay was unprofessional and at times abusive. To make matters worse, we were charged for alleged smoking violations despite the fact that nobody smoked inside the villa. It felt as though excuses were being created simply to deduct money from our security deposit.
Future guests should be aware of the large security deposit required by this property. In our experience, once checkout time arrived, various questionable charges were suddenly presented. Because the villa already held our security deposit, we felt pressured into accepting deductions that we strongly disagreed with.
Overall, the lack of housekeeping, disrespectful treatment by the caretaker, false accusations, and unfair charges completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable stay in Bali. I would not recommend this villa and strongly advise future guests to carefully document the condition of the property upon arrival and departure.
