Lovelyl apartment

The apartment is in the center of Porto and it’s beautiful, clean, and offers every comfort. The staff was very kind and available for help. There is a very convenient shuttle service to and from the airport. Highly recommended.

This property and experience was not safe and they are deceptive and non responsive. Ladies, do not stay here.

The location is central.

The description is misleading and fake. For example, the photos do not match what you are seeing on your booking page. The unit the flash to lure with is a different unit. Check photos carefully. Next, the written description is a lie. There are not 2 beds. There is a “sofa bed”, but is the length of 4-5 hairdryers (see photo). The “courtyard view” is a complete lie. The view is of old cement walls with AC units (see photos). The room is depressingly dim even during daylight. The charge was for 2 adults but they only left towels for 1. The stay was for 3 nights but they only left 2 coffee pods. The curtain was broken so there was light from the outside the entire night (see photo). The description states it’s sound proof. It is not. You can hear water running behind the bed and furniture moving above you and the elevator is just outside the unit’s entrance and you can also hear it being used. Despite booking.com stating that someone from The property would be in touch 24 hours before check in, nobody reached out. Nor did they respond to my messages until a couple hours before check in. There were crickets to my earlier messages to organize my travel plans. They charge you mine to drop your bags off if you arrive earlier than their 3pm check in. But they don’t communicate with you in advance for you to figure out your logistics either. Due to all the issues with the deception and noise, I politely asked the manager to let me exit 2 days early so I could find another property. He got very hostile with anger. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel safe knowing this angry and aggressive man who huffed that he is the “CEO” of the property had a key to where I’m sleeping. And the knob that bolts the door shut from the inside was broken. I did not end up spending time there because it did not feel comfortably safe. In sum, the description is deceptive. The photos are deceptive. The curtain and door locker were broken, interrupting privacy and feeling of safety.
