The hotel sits high up above Erizincan and offers amazing views. The staff were helpful. In the snow season the A-frames and bungalows would look cute.
The property does not seem to be quite finished or fully realised their upmarket vision. There’s a wood burner in the house with plenty of wood, but no kindling or fire starters. The attempt to start a fire with burner fluid and logs quickly failed. The glass is so black you wouldn’t see the fire even if it got going. There’s a spa in the corner of the main room. The protective plastic is partially removed and looks terrible . There was not enough hot water to even partially fill it, nor for showers the next day. Please leave fridges plugged in and on! Paper cups rather than cups or glasses just seems mean when they are clearly trying for an upmarket experience. It is an expensive taxi ride in and out of the town if you don’t have a car.
