Excellent location, just 800m from Bagdogra Aiprort. They even give you free airport shuttle as well.

Had a wonderful stay at Hotel Rio Bagdogra. The hotel is very convenient for Bagdogra Airport, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are friendly and helpful. The food was also very good, and the overall atmosphere was pleasant and welcoming.
A great option for both families and business travellers. Would definitely stay here again!
all was good

Staffs were friendly . And food was exceptional. It is a new property with Morden amenities in a good value for money . I would specially recommend trying to ask for the Mountain View and tea view room . You can even ask for an upgrade as the money spent is worth it .
Nothing such .

The hotel is just a few minutes away from the airport, so that is most convenient if it is an overnight stay to take a morning flight out (assuming you are getting there from Darjeeling or Gangtok or equivalent - most of these journeys take 5-8 hours).
The breakfast was poor - the so-called South Indian menu was particularly bad, with dosas that were cold and chewy and a north Indian menu that was only slightly better. The hotel is still under construction and they have opened it out way too soon. For example: there is no reception, just a desk in an open area that is a makeshift reception.
