they will charge you extra money later
We need to warn you about this accommodation !!!
Although Booking.com included taxes in the total price, the owners later requested an additional payment of €275 for taxes and a €300 deposit. When we complained about paying taxes, they reduced the amount to €165. We are unsure how they calcupated this amount.
Additionally, we have submitted a complaint to Booking.com and are still waiting for their response.
Paying these extra taxes is a condition for receiving limited instructions on how to enter the apartment.
Once we arrived at the building, we realized that gaining access to the apartment was quite complicated. To enter, they provide a number that must be called from abroad (an international call). It is impossible to send messages through messaging apps. This number is for a contact center that, for some reason, keeps you on hold for 10 to 15 minutes, all while your network charges you.
While it states that the apartment is on the second floor, that is somewhat misleading. You actually have to climb 7 flights of stairs to reach it, which can be quite challenging if you are not in good physical condition.
The apartment does have three rooms, a living room, and two bathrooms; however, the rooms are partitioned in such a way that one room has a window that only looks out onto the courtyard. Each morning, the courtyard is indeed picturesque. Furthermore, because of the partitions, the living room has no windows at all and remains dark.
Another disappointing aspect is that the apartment is advertised for six people, but there is no space for them to dine together. The dining area is too small, and there aren’t enough utensils for meals.
Additionally, during our six-night stay, we were provided with only one towel each for our face and body, and no extra towels or replacements were given.
If you plan to stay at this accommodation, remember to bring your own towels and dining utensils.
