Islander Inn is my go-to accommodations. I love the location of the property at the Coconut Marketplace. I've been staying here since the late 70's. The view of Unit 204 was nice with garden, pool and ocean beyond. Unit has a queen bed and a pull out sofa. Soaps, shampoo, conditioner and lotion are provided. Shopping and some food spots including the country market with food, coffee and an ABC store is great.
I didn't like that they had just changed property management companies and communication was not very good. Info binder in the room needs to be updated. Also, I didn't like that they do not provide clean towels. Our stay was 9 nights and we had to go to a public laundromat and the towels and our light clothing were stained due to faulty washer. My bad, but I didn't realize each building has a laundry. For the price of the accommodations, you would think they could provide fresh towels at some point.
