This is a gorgeous apartment with a beautiful view of Arachova and the mountains beyond. It is located at almost the top of the town. If you have a car, this means a drive up a very steep hill (and back down). It's intimidating, but not impossible. Walking back down to the main street (restaurants/shopping) takes less than 10 minutes, the walk back up will help work off some of those delicious Greek calories.
The apartment is great. The main room has a sleeper sofa (futon style), a small kitchenette with fridge. The decor is old world and homey, without seeming dated at all. The bedroom has a large wardrobe. Each side of the bed has a nightstand, outlet and bedlight switch. The bed is really comfortable, the pillows were fantastic! The bathroom is so pretty, and the hot water has it's own thermostat control.
The provided breakfast is self service in the apartment - the kitchen was stocked with juice, bread, toasts, butter, jams and sliced meat & cheese, as well as coffee & tea.
The apartment is really quiet. No noise from upstairs or downstairs.
The hosts, John and his mom, were really nice and very accommodating. They live on the property.
We stayed here instead of Delphi, and the drive to Delphi was less than 15 minutes.
I'd easily recommend this apartment to anyone.
My only complaint is that I wish the hand held shower also had a wall hook.

Die Unterkunft (mit allem, was man braucht) ist wirklich traumhaft gelegen, mit einer super Aussicht in die Berge und der ideale Ausgangspunkt um Delphi anzuschauen. In der Nähe gibt es tolle Restaurants und viele Möglichkeiten zum einkaufen. Der Empfang war wirklich sehr, sehr freundlich.
Ich allein hätte mich nicht getraut, die Straße mit dem Auto "hoch" zu fahren, dort wo der Parkplatz für das Auto war. Vielleicht könnte man mit einem Satz darauf hinweisen. Da es sich um ein Bergdorf handelt, ist das natürlich "normal" - aber ich hatte schon richtig Respekt.
