Terrible customer service and unfulfilled promises

- close to public transportation - mini fridge

Pick somewhere else to stay in Paris, because this property has unbelievably awful service. First off, I'll tell you about the "minor" things. The listing on Booking.com was inaccurate. It said a washing machine was available and toiletries were included, but they were not... Not even a drop of hand soap, and we couldn't do laundry like we had planned and packed for... We also only received 5 small towels to last 5 people 5 days, with no way to wash them. There were no pillow cases on most of the pillows. There was no bag in the garbage can. There were dirty dishes in the cupboard (probably because there's no soap or brush with which to wash them). But those problems were the minor ones for us. We were coming to Paris in the middle of a heat wave, but the property promised it had air conditioning. I even checked with them before coming that there was air conditioning in the apartment, because we were traveling with two young kids and we'd already been suffering in other locations with only using fans to cool down; they confirmed. But when we arrived, the apartment was like an oven, and the air conditioning machine would not respond to any of the inputs on the remote control. It would not turn on at all. So I reached out to the property contact, and over an hour later, got a response to say that the AC was, indeed, not functioning, and that they couldn't guarantee when the problem could be fixed. At that point, I told them to cancel my booking and refund my money so I could book somewhere else with functional AC, because nobody was going to get any sleep at all with no AC and no fans in 38-40 degree weather. But the person responding to messages was completely useless. All they kept telling me was: "We will forward your request to our management. We will keep you posted for further updates." I went back and forth with this person for several hours, trying to get them to DO SOMETHING TO HELP.

Pretty apartment that is close to amenities. Very quiet and clean.

Great location, comfortable beds and quiet.

A fuir
