I booked this property seeing it is new on booking.com and had no reviews. I want other travelers to be aware and not to
Ebisu is a nice area where you can experience Tokyo more local life . It has playgrounds for kids , great restaurants and is accessible to all parts of Tokyo
The property was very disappointing for us. We stayed there for a week with our 3 year old kid and on the pictures it is described as a freshly renovated bright studio apartment when in reality it was much darker very kids unfriendly property. Apartment is located in an office style building where elevator takes you directly to apartment. The door in between is hard to enter with stroller very little space. Inside apartment every time someone walk above you or speaks you can hear it . There is missing a picture of fire exit door which is located inside the property and can be easily opened (takes you to fire emergency stairs ) caused us a lot of scare with toddler who kept trying to open the door. The balcony view is to the trashcan on the balcony. The window behind bed has a wall view and only the kitchen table windows bring some day light.
Bathroom is tiny sink is impossible to use. You can barely wash your hands in it . We were left with 2 trash bags and 2 rolls of toilet paper for a week of stay no cleaning provided. No ironing possibility either. We tried cancellation through booking.com and pay for first 2 nights but the owner rejected our request even after we explained that this property is not suitable for kids. After several complaints we were left a bag with toilet paper , trashbags and some family mart snacks behind the door - as an apology. I think these are essentials that should be provided from the beginning. Would definitely not recommend this property for anyone traveling with family and kids. This is suitable more for young travelers who want to save on stay and don’t care about noise and are there just to crash after long day walking in Tokyo. (apartment has 3 double beds next to each other ). On the day of check out cleaning person came in 09:50 am literally walked in while we were there with our luggage. Check out is at 10 am .
