I discovered the beautiful village of Ribamar a few years ago (whilst looking after my friend's dog!) I quickly fell in love and became a regular visitor.
As part of my Dad's 80th birthday present I decided to show them the place that had stolen my heart. I found Casa Sardine and walked past the property on my last visit...it sounded ideal and it absolutely was!
The house was so perfect for us in so many ways...on a lovely quiet street a 5-10 minute walk to the centre with its' lovely restaurants. Each room had its own terrace...some of the views were just breathtaking. The facilities were superb...there were both indoor and outdoor dining facilities and the kitchen was very well equipped. The showers were super powerful.
I admit I cried when I walked through the door of Casa Sardine...there was a Happy Birthday banner in the hallway and a lovely welcome note and some treats for us in the kitchen! I honestly felt so at home here. Ana was so incredibly thoughtful in so many ways and kept in touch throughout our stay. I wholeheartedly recommend Casa Sardine and hope to return again myself soon.

Geweldig mooi huis op een prachtige ligging met uitzicht op de zee. Luxueus en volledig ingericht met alle noodzakelijke benodigdheden aanwezig en zelfs meer.

Oui dans l’ensemble, c’était pas trop mal par contre une forte odeur de renfermée dû à un manque de ventilation autorisée inexistante l’équipement au niveau de la cuisine. Concernant tout ce qui est ustensile casserole était un fort handicap pour cuisiner pour six personnes nous avons même dû acheter une cuillère en bois et des couteaux d’office. Donc je devais donner un conseil aux propriétaires. Ce serait d’investir dans une VMC afin d’ assainir son immeuble. Malgré cela ne va passer un bon séjour, heureusement que la température nous permettait de ventiler.

A casa situa-se num local sossegado e a poucos km da Ericeira, possui tudo o que é necessário para uns dias de férias bem passados.
É bastante espaçosa, com dois pisos, ambos com WC.
Foram deixados alguns mimos para consumo como vinho, bolachas, compotas, café, chá, etc
Apanhamos um período de bastante calor, que não é normal na zona. Apesar da casa ser fresca, notou-se a falta de ar condicionado nos quartos. Ainda assim, foi gentilmente cedido um ventilador que ajudou.
Boa comunicação com o proprietário e fácil check in e check out.
Além desse episódio de calor fora do normal que tornou o piso superior um pouco abafado (não sei se justifica ser condicionado nos quartos mas ajudaria), as únicas coisas que acho, poderiam melhorar, seria um arejamento mais frequente da casa e colocar umas cortinas que impedissem a luz matinal de entrar pelas frinchas das portadas.
