Great location.

Great location, Egham is a lovely town, with lots of shops. The host is very friendly.

The shared bathroom hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Poor value for money and poor quality.

Location was excellent for town and station. Rina (landlady was so friendly and generous with her time and hospitality).

The general standard of the furnishings and cleanliness. Mismatched furniture (not a problem if they were of a good quality), poor quality mattress, no mattress protector, very low quality bedding (the pink sheet was transparent). I took my own pillow so I didn't use the one there. The bathroom though fairly recent and modern had a clean loo and basin but the shower cubicle was dirty and showed mould and the shower head poor quality with limescale blocking the jets so water didn't flow. The kitchen was grubby with an ancient electric cooker which put me off using it. The cutlery provided was heavily tarnished and had turned black. I only made a first cup of tea before leaving for my appointments. The security was dubious because I was told to leave the front door on the latch which didn't make me feel safe as a single female. Good value for money doesn't mean poor quality - at least make sure the mattress enables a good supportive sleep and some decent bedding which at least matches each other. The window was double glazed but I couldn't see out of it because it was clouded over. The curtain didn't quite fit and was not a blackout curtain and the bed is positioned right by the window so at first light, you are awake. The landlady seemed disorganised on first meeting, saying she wasn't expecting me even though I clearly had a confirmed booking. She kept me waiting for a long time whilst she opened the maisonettes door and then she was in my room for some time with me whilst she and her partner searched for the door key to my room which I was expecting but she'd apparently misplaced. There wasn't a mirror in the bedroom but there's one in the bathroom but since it's shared, you can't guarantee getting in there to do hair or makeup should you wish. This was relatively cheap accommodation but it wasn't cheap cheap and the expectations were far from met.

Viel zwaar tegen. Bedden OK.

Abodia, the host and the présence of a fan.

Gedeelde badkamer. We gingen ervan uit dat we eigen sanitair zouden hebben. Kamer was op de zolder: bloedje heet. Niet te doen bij een hoge buitentemperatuur.
