Terribly disappointed!
The indoor heated pool and beach access were the only aspects that was satisfactory!
Our experience at this condo was extremely disappointing and fell far below our expectations, especially considering the amount we paid and how the property was represented in the advertisement. Unfortunately, the condo was significantly outdated, poorly maintained, and nowhere near as appealing as the photos suggested.
Several issues made our stay particularly unpleasant:
Unexpected noise and lack of consideration: On Saturday morning, we were awakened by a man speaking over an intercom system that we were unaware was even located in our bedroom. On the morning of checkout, which was scheduled for 10:00 a.m., workers began using a hammer drill at approximately 7:30 a.m. We found this completely unacceptable and inconsiderate, as we were still paying guests and should have been able to enjoy our final morning without disruptive construction noise.
Cleanliness and pest issues: We encountered roaches inside the condo, and both bathtubs were disgustingly dirty and appeared not to have been properly cleaned before our arrival. The bedding in the master bedroom was also torn. These conditions raised serious concerns about the overall cleanliness and upkeep of the property.
Nonfunctional washer and dryer: Laundry facilities were listed as an amenity, so we reasonably expected them to be in working order. Unfortunately, the washing machine's spin cycle did not work, leaving our clothes soaking wet. We had no choice but to lay our clothes outside overnight to dry. As a result, we were unable to wash and prepare the towels as instructed before checkout. It is extremely frustrating that the property management did not appear to know, or address, that an advertised appliance was not functioning. Guests should not be expected to discover these issues themselves during their stay.
