The apartment is right in the Jewish Quarter, literally steps away from Szimpla ruin bar, yet it’s tucked into a quiet courtyard, which is perfect. Getting there from the airport bus (100E) is easy — about a 10-minute walk, and there’s a 24/7 shop 60 meters away. Check-in instructions were clear and simple.
Inside, the apartment is clean and fully equipped: stove, microwave, kettle, Nespresso machine, toaster, fridge — basically everything you need for a comfortable stay. The bathroom has good fittings and even a washing machine. The host was very friendly and always reachable by email, checking in and explaining everything clearly.
One more thing worth mentioning — the Wi-Fi was excellent. I worked during the day and the connection was more than enough for video calls and regular work tasks.
The name mentioning balcony & spa is misleading — there’s neither a real balcony nor any spa.
The bathroom drain was clogged, so by the end of every shower you’d be standing ankle-deep in soapy water.
There’s also no shower curtain, meaning you must shower very carefully or flood the floor. There’s no proper shower curtain either, so you either shower sitting down or extremely carefully to avoid flooding the floor. The underfloor heating in bathroom is installed but mechanically disabled — and in winter that really matters. Since it’s a ground-floor apartment, it’s very cold at the bottom level.
I had to set the air conditioning to +26°C constantly just to make it livable downstairs. But here’s the twist — the bed is on a loft level, accessible by a narrow and fairly steep ladder. And up there, the temperature is exactly what you set. Sleeping at +26°C isn’t ideal, but if you lower it, the downstairs area becomes too cold to work in (and I worked there during the day).
One more strange moment — one evening a neighbor knocked on the door asking for money for food. Not sure why he thought I was his sponsor, but that was unexpected.
As for sound insulation — it’s basically non-existent. I could clearly hear someone coughing behind the wall and even someone showering next door. I’m not sure whether they could hear me too, and honestly I don’t really care, it’s not a plus or a minus for me personally. But for guests who value privacy and silence, it’s definitely something to keep in mind.

Апартаменти розташовані в людному метушливому місці, але в глибині будівлі (у другому внутрішньому дворику), тож шум з вулиці зовсім не заважає. У пішій доступності і центральний вокзал і ключові будівлі міста.
У помешканні є все необхідне побутове приладдя для перебування двох людей, є також кавоварка і капсули. Є швидкий інтернет, якщо він потрібний Вам для роботи, є непоганий фен, що для мене важливо. Помешкання зовсім нове, дуже чисте і охайне. Комфорту додає те, що спальна зона відділена від житлової.
Окрема приємніть - це власник, до якого легко можна було звернутись з будь-яким проханням чи запитанням. Гадаю, що навіть якби чогось у помешканні не знайшлось - він швидко допоміг би це вирішити. І хоч я забронювала апартаменти в останній момент - він зміг все дуже швидко організувати. Ще і люб'язно потеревенив зі мною :)
А для таких уважних, як я, особлива примітка - на другому поверсі Є ВИМИКАЧ СВІТЛА. Я знайшла його в останній день))

A szállás nagyon jól fel volt szerelve. Minden megvolt benne, amire szükségünk volt. A fürdőszobában lévő tisztálkodószerektől kezdve, a konyhafelszerelésen át az okostévéig minden volt, amire az embernek igazán szüksége lehet.
Az ágy számunkra túl puha volt, és emiatt nem igazán tudtuk kipihenni magunkat.
