Quiet, with safe off street parking. The cottage was really well set up with everything you might need. Beautifully kept grounds with plenty of space to stretch your legs after a long journey.

Everything was perfect. The place had been cleaned and equipped with everything you might need. The grounds were extensive and well maintained. Everything worked (not always the case in NZ) and was of good quality. A gas barbecue provided even with spare gas bottle. Best we have had in several years visiting NZ to see family.
Only reservation was the compostable toilet which was fine for over a week but became a little odorous in the second week.

Very cosy. Well set up. Like coming home. Located about 20 minutes from central Chch.
Supermarkets etc approx. 5 minutes away.
Very relaxed location.
Had to get used to the compostable toilet, but it wasnt smelly etc.
