Comfortable and well-located!

My room was quiet and compact, functional in its layout and comfortable overall. The building was always clean—the staff are constantly mopping and scrubbing—and the gym was excellent. I used the gym almost every day that I stayed in the building, and it was never crowded. Some of the equipment was old and broken, but there was enough functional stuff there to get in a good workout. I found the location very good as well, since it offers easy access to restaurants, the metro, and Ibirapuera park. The neighbors seem to be raising birds, so if you sleep with the window open it will be loud, but the glass is thick enough that sliding your doors shut is all it takes to muffle unwanted sound. (I was on the 8th floor and felt very comfortable there.)

My two biggest frustrations with this property are relatively minor; first, that the cooking utensils provided (spoon, spatula, etc.) *melted* upon contact with a hot pan. I will never forget trying to scramble some eggs and realizing with horror that they were turning black with melted plastic from the apartment's spatula. Please, Urbic, replace the cooking utensils you offer your guests. Second, since I stayed in the apartment for almost three weeks, I booked a cleaning for R$150. I had to bother the guest services account on WhatsApp for three days after I realized that the cleaning hadn't been done, and they kept repeating that it had happened until we finally cleared the question up: the cleaning team had (twice) cleaned the wrong room. I'm glad other residents got their apartments cleaned, but I would've appreciated mine done on the day and time we agreed to, since I paid in advance.
