Upon arrival the outside of the property looked clean and well maintained although, there was a construction dumpster in the parking lot. The check in process was quick and easy; the staff was welcoming and friendly. As we walked to our room, we noticed a strong musty odor in the hallway; however, the room itself did not have any unpleasant smell. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and for the price, we felt the hotel offered a good value.
It was also close to the downtown Kokomo area which we enjoyed while in town.

Check-in staff very friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Great for a brief stay if you are not looking for extras. Pros: clean sheets, comfortable bed, clean floor, decent bathroom, nice to have soap dispenser at sink. Cons: unappealing curbside, lobby and hallways smell like old cigarette smoke (room did not), no where to set your luggage, low quality shower head, air conditioner very noisy/loud. Plan on getting morning coffee elsewhere, not available at hotel. Was very pleased for one night.
