* Overall, we were very dissatisfied with our stay and would not recommend this apartment.
The air conditioning units worked very well and this was the only positive point of the apartment.
* The apartment did not match the description provided in the listing, which was the main reason we chose and reserved it.
* Midst our stay, we realized the apartment has mice as our tote bags had been chewed through over night. Also, a few waffles we had left in a ziplock had signs that they had been chewed by mice.
* The master bathroom was extremely small; it was not even possible to comfortably wash your hands in the sink area.
* The master bathroom door was damaged and could not be moved. It was a sliding door and did not close.
* It was not mentioned anywhere in the description that reaching the apartment required climbing more than 30 stairs. The stairs were very narrow and spiral-shaped, making access extremely difficult.
* My parents, who are in their 80s, had to go up and down those stairs several times. Moving our luggage and belongings through those stairs was also very challenging and difficult.
* The apartment did not provide the basic amenities expected for a two-day stay. Other than toilet paper, there were very limited supplies. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap were insufficient, and the hand soap holders were empty.
* The stairs were by far one of the worst aspects of the apartment and made the stay very inconvenient.
* Upon entry we realized that the building has three apartment units and it was not mentioned which unit was ours. If we had known this, and known our apartment required stairs, we would not have considered this property.
* The lack of parking was a major problem. The only available parking option nearby allowed parking for only four hours, and most of the time there were no available spaces. This was mentioned as “free street parking” in the description and no mention of limitations.
* Throughout the entire stay, there was a strong smell of weed coming from the apartment below, which was very unpleasant and clearly related to the downstairs residents.
