Not a bad flat but could be much better.

Quiet, side street location. Clean. Comfortable sofa and bed. Hot shower. Broken wall heaters so owner brought in 2 oil-filed rads. Good communication.

Difficult to find. Not easy to park. The kitchen was seriously lacking in basic utensils: for example, only one large pot. Owner told us that previous people had stolen kitchen items. He needs to remedy this: perhaps charge a deposit? Bathroom smelt of damp.

On a plus side, the bed was very comfy and we slept well

The location was perfect and there was easy parking close by.

We like to self cater and found lots of useful things that were missing. Bottle opener, glasses, scissors etc. There was also a very drainy smell too.

Disappointing

Even if from outside the property looked haunted, from the inside it was quite clean, comfy and well maintained. Also toiletries were generously provided. Not far from station.

After a five hour journey from South London to Norfolk, we couldn't wait to reach the hotel. To our surprise, the code provided to open the door wasn't working. We called the host over 20 times for almost half an hour for help and finally they responded and gave us an emergency code to use instead. This was so upsetting, disappointing and frustrating. We were already exhausted and having to wait outside with our luggage was so inconvenient and inconsiderate. I understand that sometimes mistakes happen but atleast when we were calling them for help, they should have responded earlier. Excuse given was they had poor network connection at the time which is unacceptable and lame. How unprofessional and irresponsible can people be ? If they knew they were going to be away to an area with poor network connection, then they should have made sure that the code was working fine. On the second day of stay, hot water supply was interrupted. Luckily problem got sorted fairly quickly when we escalated the matter to the host. It was a bit chilly at night and the heater in the bedroom doesn’t work.
