When I viewed and read what the hotel offered. Self parking was stated. No where did it state parking would be $10 per day until I checked to my surprise. This hotel is not in the downtown area and no valet parking. If this parking fee was stated, I definitely would stayed elsewhere.

The balcony was awesome with the view of the pool and beach. Room floor was a little dirty with old crumbs and hair in the bathroom. But overall, stay wad awesome

When I approached the property at night, my first impression wasn't the best. One had to enter through a convoluted Batcave like road and the neighborhood appeared a bit seedy. I wondered what I was getting into.
However, that initial impression was *completely* unfounded. In daylight, the neighborhood was fine. The entrance was in the back of the property because the front had a pool . . . yay!!
Most importantly, the property was VERY nice. The location was across the street from the beach. Moreover, there were a lot of nearby places to get food. Everything was clean, comfortable, and efficient. The service was super friendly (thumbs up for James at the front desk!).
I liked it so much, I stayed a second night (the tasty breakfast pushed me over the top). Ironically, the only service hiccup was how long it took to extend my reservation by a night (what IS all of that typing :-) ), a VERY minor nit.
Definitely would stay there again sans hesitation!!
