The location was great - walk right over to the beach. The deck was a beautiful place to sit and read - with a view. In spite of it being on a busy street, it was very quiet. The place was spotless.
Communication could be a bit better. I received a phone call from Lauren a couple of days before arrival date. She left a voice mail asking me to call back to go over arrival procedures and ask any questions. When I returned the call, she seemed very rushed and not sure why I called back. I asked about the parking lot's location since it says"on site" and I couldn't see one. I was hurriedly told it was behind a couple of businesses - never having been there before that didn't help. I am a senior citizen who would have appreciated knowing it wasn't"on Site". She did tell me to call after noon to see if my room would be ready early. I waited until about 2:00 to call, having gone around the block a couple of times trying to find the entrance and a place to stop. I left a message and asked for a call back which I never received. I finally was able to locate the entrance and a spot opened up to stop around 3:00. I wasn't aware that there was no daily housekeeping - which I really don't mind - but seeing the tip envelope which indicated "during your stay" and the sign about reusing towels and to hang them up which is usually a sign to a housekeeper, I thought there would be one and made an effort to be out of the room for a period of time.
