I'd look somewhere else if I were you
The pool was awesome ... only wish I had the fob to access! Please read the complaint letter I sent immediately after leaving.
I am writing to share feedback regarding our recent stay at your property. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing, and I feel it is important to bring several issues to your attention.
First, the access code provided did not work, and I had to call #2218 to gain entry. Once inside, the smell of marijuana was overwhelming ... it smelled like a hardcore frat party took place the night before. It was immediately noticeable upon entering and made the space uncomfortable for our family. To manage this, I had to purchase candles, air fresheners, and dryer sheets, open all the windows, and use fans to try to make the apartment livable. There is no way the cleaning people didn't notice this before our arrival ... no way.
Additionally, all the remote controls were missing, and the coffee machine was not functional. I contacted both "One Stone" and "Huge Style Apartments" regarding a replacement coffee machine and a key fob, they said they'd be right out to replace them, but neither was delivered during our stay. Throughout our stay, due to having no fobs / fobs, we had to wait for staff to open the pool and front doors, which was inconvenient.
Our family has traveled extensively and rented properties across the U.S., and we have never left a negative review ... never, until now. This is our first use of Booking.com for a rental. Moving forward, I believe we'll stick with VRBO, AirBNB and Evolve. There are huge issues with this property that need immediate attention to meet just the basic expectations of comfort, cleanliness, and functionality.
We hope you take this feedback seriously and make the necessary improvements.
Sincerely,
The Thorndike Family
