Misleading listing, unacceptable hygiene, and insecure payment demands – Did not stay.

Nil

We booked this property for five people because it was advertised as a three-bedroom house. Upon arriving late at night, we discovered it is only a two-bedroom property with a fold-out couch in the living room. The listing photos are highly misleading, showing different angles of the same bedroom to make it appear as a third. Furthermore, the hygiene was completely unacceptable. There was no bedding provided for the living room couch, and the blankets we eventually found stuffed in a closet looked highly questionable and unhygienic. The bedding on the actual beds was dirty, and the duvets were too small to properly cover the beds. To make matters worse, the property manager called me on the day of check-in and adked my credit card details—including my security CVV code—over the phone, bypassing secure payment platforms. This was highly unprofessional and made me very uncomfortable. Because the property was falsely advertised and lacked reasonable hygiene, our group had to leave at 10:00 PM to find alternative accommodation. The host has subsequently ignored all communication regarding a refund. I strongly advise against booking here.

Location and convenience to town were amazing. Good value for money and I would stay there again. The property manager was prompt at replying and very accomodating to our extra requests.

The fold out couch in the lounge has a missing leg, we were told we could use the coffee table to hold it up but it’s not quite the right height so we put the mattress on the floor. It could do with some new towels, some of them had holes, and a window clean to maximise the amazing view from the lounge.
