Stressful!
The property is extremely dirty, unhygienic, and unsafe.
Electrical & Safety Hazards: The cooker is completely unfit for purpose and tripped the main electricity supply twice while preparing dinner on our first evening and again during breakfast. A technician instructed us to reset it at an external mains electricity wall box at the end of the road. However, this area smells awful, is heavily infested with cats and decaying food, and is far too dangerous to access and reset.
Pest Infestations: The kitchen is currently infested with ants, which swarmed and ruined our fresh food. They were also all over belongings in bedroom.
Kitchen & Appliances: The kitchen was visibly dirty upon arrival. Rotting food waste from previous occupants trapped inside the gaps of the worktop joins, in the dishwasher, the fridge-freezer is covered in rust, the door handles, light switches, cupboard and drawer handles were also dirty.
Living Area: The couches are heavily stained, covered in visible food waste from previous guests, feel sticky to the touch. When lifting the cushions there was rubbish from previous guests.
Outdoor & Pool Areas: The sun loungers are filthy. The pool water is "slimy," and filled with floating dirt and insects, making it entirely unsafe and unhygienic for use. The nets provided are broken and inadequate.
Bathroom & Drainage: The shower is unclean and covered in grime. The plug hole is unsanitary and lacks a plug, causing foul, distressing drain smells to leak directly into the bedroom.
Bedroom: The bedsheets and towels are stained, raising serious concerns about whether they were even laundered before our arrival.
Floors: The floors throughout the entire property appeared dirty and unwashed.
This substandard environment has caused us significant distress and completely ruined our holiday.
