Horrible, dangerous, rude owner terrible experience never ever again !!

Unfinished building! Dangerous stairs going to the apartment has no railings on the inside has a massive drop someone could potentially die ! And the railing on the outside is breaking of can move with 2 fingers as shown in my videos any one leans on it it or trips will go over very easily ! Extremely uncomfortable taking my 4 month old baby up and down everyday ! No WiFi! AC not working ! And was made to wait 3 hours to check in extreme heat after my original time was 2pm ! Rude owner was no help in any situation and tbh not happy with booking.com in how you guys have handled this situation, was sent a email weren’t can’t upload the videos I took of the apartment stating how dangerous it is ! All the glass on the balcony is so lose can move with my two fingers as you will see on the videos once I’m provided with a proper method to send the videos over ! Anyone leans on the edges is the glass on the balcony will go over and have a horrific injury or potentially die but I guess who cares as long as the moneys coming in right ? Seemed that way when I was talking to the lady from booking.com when wasn’t provided with a way to send videos over ! Can’t show these things in pictures and I’m very sure you guys are aware of this ! Dangerous dangerous dangerous that building however I’ve made many videos and took pictures in case a fatality happens there just to show that booking .com was informed but did nothing about it ! If I don’t get anyone sort this out I will make a video stating dangerous apartment provided through booking.com in albertville please avoid and upload it on YouTube!

Onze ervaring met deze accomodatie was helaas zeer slecht en teleurstellend.
Slechts twee uur vóór aankomst werden wij via WhatsApp door de eigenaar geïnformeerd dat het geboekte appartement niet beschikbaar was vanwege afvoerproblemen. Er werd een alternatief aangeboden in een verder afgelegen dorp, met een hele andere sfeer dan waar we wilden zijn.
Opvallend is bovendien dat de eigenaar uitsluitend via WhatsApp wilde communiceren, terwijl Booking nadrukkelijk aangaf dat communicatie via de Booking-app moet verlopen om aanspraak te kunnen maken op verantwoordelijkheid en gemaakte afspraken. Dit heeft de situatie voor ons extra onzeker en onduidelijk gemaakt.
Het aangeboden alternatief was wel schoon en vrij nieuw, maar zeer klein, had een badkamer (in tegenstelling tot oorspronkelijk appartement) en de wifi en televisie werkten niet, ondanks eerdere toezeggingen. Ook de afvoer in de douche functioneerde heel slecht; het water liep niet weg. Daarnaast was het appartement niet goed geschikt voor 5 personen: er waren slechts 4 handdoekensets, vier stoelen en onvoldoende servies en bestek. Gelukkig was er wel een slaapbank in de woonkamer.
In de vakantieperiode kon Booking geen passend alternatief in de buurt aanbieden en de ondersteuning van booking was ook slecht. Na een hele middag bellen en in onzekerheid te zitten, hebben wij uiteindelijk besloten het maar te incasseren en door te gaan, omdat ons geduld op was en wij bang waren helemaal zonder verblijf te komen zitten.
Via WhatsApp vroegen we naar een compensatie - meneer heeft €100 aangeboden, wat ons inziens niet in verhouding staat tot het ongemak en de duidelijke verslechtering van zowel accommodatie als locatie. Deze is ook nog niet overgemaakt na meerdere malen herinnering.
