Overall, the apartment may work for travelers looking only for a cheap and simple place to stay.

The apartment is in a very convenient location in the Champagne region and having parking directly in front of the property was definitely a plus. Considering the relatively low price, it offers acceptable value for money if you are looking for a very basic stay.

However, there were several things that made us uncomfortable. The apartment and even the outside area were monitored with cameras, including one inside the apartment itself. We did not feel comfortable with this at all and unplugged the indoor camera during our stay. Cleanliness could also be improved. There were still hairs in the sink, shower and bathroom area when we arrived. Only one partially used roll of toilet paper was provided, which felt insufficient for guests. The overall furnishing and equipment were extremely basic. The mattress was very uncomfortable and felt more like a camp bed than a proper bed. What disappointed us most was the handling of a medical emergency during our stay. We unfortunately had to call an ambulance in the middle of the night due to a serious medical situation, and several emergency doctors entered the apartment around 2am. At 6am the same morning, while we were asleep after the incident, the host called us and later sent a message saying that they had “seen” additional people entering the apartment and reminded us in a very strict way that the booking was only for two guests. We then had to explain that these were emergency medical staff responding to a medical emergency. That interaction, combined with the camera surveillance, left us feeling watched rather than welcomed.

Fijne plek, lekker knus en is schoon. Alles is op loopafstand bereikbaar. Ook konden we onze auto voor de deur parkeren !
