Nice good value room

The shower is amazing and the room was decent

The carpet looked a bit old and could do with a refurb

Unbearable smell in room 2, experience made worse by having no heating on

Good location, fixtures and fittings good quality

On arrival in room 2 there was a very unpleasant smell (reminded us of dead mouse). We aired the room for a while but as there was no heating in the property and it was ground floor we couldn't leave a window open all the time. The carpet had clearly not been vacuumed - crumbs or whatever all over it, very dusty generally and no vacuum cleaner available to clean it ourselves. It felt the room had not been used for some time. Hairs on bathroom floor and bath plughole. We sent several messages requesting heating. This eventually came on the following morning but when we returned the second evening there was again no heating and the room was cold. Sent several more messages during the evening and it came back on 6am the morning of our departure. Our daughter stayed one night in room 3 and this room was ok but we definitely will not return

Great stay

Great room and comfy bed

Could have done with a small table to sit at as the only surface furniture was already full.

5 / 10
