Surrounded by nature and filled with comfort, this spacious 5-bedroom home offers a private getaway like no other. Wake up to the sound of the creek, step outside to catch bald eagles soaring, and enjoy peaceful views that make you feel worlds away—yet close to everything.
After a day of exploring, relax in the hot tub, detox in the sauna, or share stories around the fire pit. Whether you're traveling with family or friends, the open living spaces and cozy décor make this the ideal gathering place for up to 12 guests.

Maximum occupancy: 10 guests. Only registered guests may stay overnight.
Unauthorized pets will result in a $300 cleaning fee.
No parties or events. Disruptive gatherings or excessive noise will result in cancellation without refund.
No smoking, vaping, or marijuana use inside the home. A $350 cleaning fee applies if evidence is found.
Trash: Dispose of all garbage in designated outdoor containers before checkout. No dumping in the woods, creek, or fire pit.
Parking: Use only designated parking areas. No boats, campers, or trailers without written approval.
Children must be supervised at all times — indoors and outdoors — especially near the stream, fire pit, wooded areas, stairs, and balconies.
Natural hazards: The property includes wooded areas and a stream. Guests assume all risk related to outdoor exploration, wildlife, and uneven terrain.
Water safety: The stream and water areas are unsupervised. No swimming or wading without caution and adult supervision.
Fire pit: Fires only in the designated pit. Never leave unattended and fully extinguish before leaving. Burn clean firewood only — no trash or accelerants.
Alcohol and substances: Consume responsibly; host assumes no liability for related accidents or injuries.
Third-party services: Outside vendors (e.g., caterers, photographers, entertainment) are at guest’s own risk.
Respect the home: Do not move furniture or alter locks, systems, or décor.
Residential use only. No commercial activity, filming, or product sales.
Illegal activity will result in immediate eviction without refund.
Damages: Guests are responsible for any damage to the property, furnishings, or amenities during the stay.
Mechanical issues: Refunds will not be issued for temporary utility or equipment outages beyond host’s control.

Property was exceptionally clean and had a cozy aesthetic. You could tell the owner cared about her house and grounds. The beds were comfortable and we had plenty of towels. The owner even provided bath robes for the hot tub.
I had to reach out twice to her during our stay and she quickly responded, once during check-in and another time asking about amenities.
The location is fantastic, quiet but close to restaurants and shops.
The only thing I would recommend is that the owner give access to a washer and dryer, as most do. I’m assuming it’s because they are on a well system. And it’s my fault I didn’t confirm one would be available.
Overall, I highly recommend this property and would stay here again.

What a beautiful, secluded property! After a few busy days at Cedar Point, our group of 9 loved coming here to relax and slow down a little while exploring the countryside around us. We definitely recommend checking out the Nauvoo Family Market about 20 minutes away for fry pies, and sitting in the hot tub at night watching the fireflies.The hosts were also super responsive and helpful. When we arrived, we couldn’t find a hair dryer anywhere, so they quickly ordered one for us and it showed up the next morning.
