The hotel is well situated across the road from the River Nile. Ideal to watch the sunset and feluccas on the river.
Check in, I had a problem as the bank had stopped wireless transactions, but inserting the card in the machine and all was good. The receptionist were very patient and helpful.
I also needed a pharmacy and cashpoint, although was only a few minutes walk away, I was escorted incase of any language issues but all good.
The room was clean, but I noticed the channels when I opened the window and the top of the air-conditioning outside the window were all cleaned - and it appeared to be cleaned daily, small touches in a 'dusty' country!
Leaving early in the morning, the receptionist arranged a breakfast bag for my departure.
No complaints, apart from I would have stayed longer.
