Late arrival confirmed, but nobody was there to receive us

We had informed the hotel in advance that we would be arriving late, and the hotel confirmed that they would accept our late arrival. Between 2 and 3 a.m., while we were collecting our luggage at Mumbai airport, we contacted them again via WhatsApp to let them know that we were collecting our bags and would head to the hotel as soon as possible. Approximately one hour later, we arrived at the hotel and there was nobody there to receive us. We repeatedly tried to contact them via WhatsApp, WhatsApp calls, phone calls and Booking.com, but received no response. For approximately another hour, we were calling other hotels trying to find alternative accommodation, hoping that someone would be able to take us in at that time of night. Eventually, the hotel replied saying that they had not received our calls. We explained that we had sent messages and made calls through several different channels. They then told us that we could check in, but by that time it was almost 6 a.m. After spending hours trying to contact them, we had already been forced to find alternative accommodation. The hotel subsequently cancelled the reservation because we had not checked in and refunded the amount we had paid. We appreciate the refund, but that does not change what happened: we were left without accommodation in the middle of the night in an unfamiliar city, despite having informed the hotel in advance of our late arrival and receiving confirmation that they would accept it. Beyond the money, the situation caused us considerable anxiety and insecurity, and we had to find alternative accommodation in the early hours of the morning. Based on our experience, we would not recommend this hotel, particularly for anyone planning to arrive at night.

Comfortable and cozy

Didn't take breakfast. Great location

Microoven should have been there Fridge was there; but it wasn't working... There was certainly a communication lacuna between the manager and the housekeeping guys..

My favourite place in Bandra!

This is my second time coming over here! As expected, there were no regrets. Check in is super easy, lovely room, lovely bathroom, wonderful staff who are available to help and great location. Honest? A home away from home. I wouldn’t recommend anything else! I will definitely be back here!
