If you are in a desperate need of a roof, you can take it, but don't expect much!
Well, over all I cannot speak well about this accommodation. Based on the expectation of the landlord to give an 8/10 rating, I would rate this not better than 4. It is very basic, so at least gives you a roof, a toilet, shower, bed and kitchen.
- The windows in the living and sleeping areas are too low. When closing the shutters, there is a risk of falling from the 2nd floor; the crossbar meant to prevent falling out is not strong enough! There are no curtains or roller blinds
- The couch is sagging, prolonged sitting is not possible, and causes pain
- The shower cabin is open, and because there is no shower tray, the bathroom floor is wet after showering; there is no anti-slip mat. The bathroom door is dirty
- The bedsheet has burn holes from cigarettes. The duvet cover is made of an unknown plastic material and not cotton, which has caused significant sleep disturbances
- The bed has a steel frame, which causes pain while sleeping due to the sagging mattress. The mattress is not fixed and moves during sleep
- The kitchen is dirty and not cleaned. The cutlery and stove are dirty, and necessary items are missing from the dishes. The coffee machine, hot water kettle, and microwave oven are not cleaned. The kettle and coffee machine are placed directly on the microwave oven, so that if water is spilled, it can run into the microwave (risk of short-circuit). The kitchen unit consists of boards. Cooking in the kitchen is not possible due to the lack of basic equipment.
- Additionally:
There is no wardrobe.
Upon moving in, there was a smell of mold in the hallway, which had drastically increased after an initial rain.
We made pictures as proof, just in case
Finally: I got never my safety deposit back, despite the landlords promise. And strangely he told me, that it would be the banks responsibility to pay back my money, which is ridiculous!
The landlord wrote in his first writing, that he expects nothing below a rating between 8 and 10!
