Amazing little hotel, adorable staff, they really do all they can to make you feel comfortable.
Not much they can do about it, but there is construction happening just next door, which is making quite some noise especially in the pool area

The Zenara is at a great location in a trendy street with cute coffee and food spots and a surfer + digital nomads scene who hangs around at those spots. The accommodation is Just a few minutes from the downtown where All the Restaurants and stores are. Perfect location. The staff is amazing, the rooms are absolutely clean and the host is a great contact for everything you need to know about Lombok and activities. What was great is that you are offered a massage or an ice bath treatment if you stay for longer. Selina is always reachable and there for you.
Quiet some Mosquitos come in Thru the type of ceiling of the building, just be aware if you have a problem with that. Many said that in Lombok this is normal, however maybe solutions could be found for that, like an optional bed net or room perfume for the plugs. It did keep us awake a few nights. Also, maybe the mattresses could be swapped at some point to ‚move-neutralizing’ matresses,. It is quiet bouncy so when your travel buddy moves a lot, you move too. However, for calm sleepers it‘s absolutely enough. For a longer stay I would have wished for more sleep quality with regards to mosquitos during night that cause even more movement of your partner and bouncing around. But this is something that can be fixed in my opinion. Other than that we really loved our stay in Lombok.
