Poor

Location and restaurants

The apartment was dirty, and had a terrible odor. Didn't have hot water for showers and boiled water to do dishes. Lack of kitchen amenities. The largest frying pan had no non-stick left on the bottom at all exposing the aluminum. In my opinion it should have been thrown out. The kitchen eating utensils were dirty as well as the dishes and glasses. A very poor selection of cooking utensils. The microwave and fridge both had food smudges and weren't cleaned. The freezer hadn't been defrosted for I'm not sure how long, I barely squeezed an ice cube tray in it. The bathroom shower and sink had sand in it. The shower rack had leftover residue from previous tenants. The beds looked relatively clean until you took a closer look at them. The mattress liner was ripped and stained and had hair from previous tenants on it. The bedspread covers needed to have a good wash. New pillows with cases would have been appreciated. In all fairness the landlord's sister came to collect the fee for our stay and very quickly wiped down the fridge and microwave plus some dishes & utensils with cold water with some soap. The kitchen floor has a shard of broken glass on it. I have pictures. When I mentioned this to the landlord she texted back and said I had mistaken her sister for the cleaning lady and was only there to collect the fee and minor details. She also went on to say that the cleaning lady had been there previously and all was good for our stay. The location was very nice in Coronado, but I certainly would not recommend staying there in this apartment. Rochelle Morozoff Apt # 411
