What we loved:
On site parking close to the unit, good size parking bay
Clear instructions from the host on where to collect the keys
Well maintained grounds and great pool, bbq was cleaned daily and the guys taking care of the grounds do an excellent job
Clean, comfortable unit
The view! Nothing better than the sound of the sea and you are literally as close to the ocean as you can get
Kitchen had all the basics for cooking a meal
Great washer/dryer and dishwasher
Aircon in bedroom
Excellent firm bed (we only used the main bedroom) and crisp, clean bedding
Lots of outdoor seating
Donne was friendly and helpful and replied to my questions quickly
What was missing:
A few extra basics like washing powder, salt and pepper or basic condiments, tea and sugar
Some softer lighting in the lounge / dining room - a lamp would be great
A beach umbrella and beach chairs
Aircon in the lounge was out of order
A few instructions - we weren’t sure how safe it was leaving the doors open or where to drop off rubbish but Donne was quick to respond to my questions
Special mentions: Dolores coffee shack 500m down the road does excellent coffees
The rock pools across the road at low tide are perfect for lazing in!
We definitely recommend this apartment and will be back.
