Afternoons drift between the hammocks, the sun loungers and the cowboy tub. At dusk, move under the covered patio and into the hot tub as the desert view darkens. The Space:

Moon Dusk is a newly built home in Joshua Tree with an open layout, vaulted ceilings in the living and dining areas and polished concrete floors. A split floor plan puts two queen bedrooms at the front and the king primary at the back, with two bathrooms between them. Out back, a covered patio with desert views, a hot tub, a cowboy tub, hammocks and sun loungers fill the fenced yard, and the garage doubles as a game room. Solar power, a tankless water heater and RV parking add practical touches. It suits families and groups of up to six. Rack up a game of pool, then head out for the moon.

-Outdoor Amenities-

The covered back patio looks out over the desert, and the fenced backyard has a hot tub, a cowboy tub, hammocks and sun loungers. The cowboy tub is not an in-ground pool. Joshua trees grow right on the property, with views from the front of the house as well.



-Living Area-

The open-concept living and dining areas have vaulted ceilings and polished concrete floors. The smart TV is ready for your Hulu, YouTube or Netflix accounts. The oversized two-car garage doubles as a game room with a pool table and a couch.



-Kitchen and Dining-

The modern kitchen has quartz countertops, custom cabinetry, a Ruvati sink and Café appliances, including a refrigerator, oven, stove and microwave, plus pots, pans, plates, cups and utensils.



-Bedrooms and Bathrooms-

Moon Dusk has a split floor plan, with two bedrooms at the front and the primary at the back. The primary has a king bed, and the other two bedrooms each have a queen bed. The two bathrooms have tile showers and undermount sinks.



-Surrounding Area-

Downtown Joshua Tree and Joshua Tree National Park are the easy outings from Moon Dusk, with clear skies for stargazing and desert flora all around.



Guest Access:

The entire house and property are yours to enjoy! Please note that a few supply closets stay locked to store rental supplies.



A keypad at the front door provides keyless entry; your personal entry code and check-in instructions will be sent 3 days before arrival.



The Neighborhood:

Moon Dusk is in Joshua Tree, a short drive from downtown and the national park, on paved roads with cell coverage.



Getting Around:

A personal vehicle is necessary to get around in this area - rideshare apps are not guaranteed.



The drive is simple, flat and paved the whole way. Up to 3 cars can park on the pavement in front and inside the garage, and an RV can park in the driveway. No street parking, please.



Other Things to Note:

-Cowboy Tub-

The pool at Moon Dusk is a cowboy tub, not an in-ground pool. Cowboy tubs are drained and unavailable during winter months (November through March) to prevent freeze-related equipment damage.



-Hot Tub and Cowboy Tub Rules-

Please rinse off lotions and oils before and after using the hot tub or cowboy tub, keep the hot tub lid on to keep out dirt and hold the heat, and dispose of trash properly. No glass by any water. An additional fee may be charged for excessive dirtiness.



-House-Specific Rules-

► Please keep music at a reasonable volume and turn it off by the start of quiet hours.



-Pool and Hot Tub Service-

We have hot tub and cowboy tub cleanings twice a week, on Mondays and Thursdays, and these days may fall during your stay.



-Pet Policy-

We welcome your dogs! There is a $100 per dog per stay fee, limit of 2 dogs maximum. Please note on your reservation how many dogs you are bringing. There is an unauthorized pet fee of $500. Please use the provided dog sheets before allowing your dogs on any furniture. Cats and other pets are not allowed due to the owner's severe allergy.

-Wildlife & Safety-

The desert landscape is teeming with wildlife and natural beauty, offering a unique connection to nature, but it's important to be mindful of the creatures and plants that call this area home. Guests may encounter a variety of wildlife during their stay, and while direct encounters with dangerous animals like coyotes, snakes, scorpions, bobcats, mountain lions and other desert dwellers are rare, it is important to be aware of your surroundings and to keep a safe distance from these creatures when spotted. Additionally, the desert is dotted with sharp cacti and other spiky plants. For your safety, always supervise children, pets, ESAs, and service animals while outdoors. Dogs should remain on a leash at all times and be watched closely while outdoors, as they can wander into potentially unsafe situations with wildlife or plants. By booking this property, guests acknowledge the potential for wildlife encounters and assume responsibility for their safety and the safety of their group. By respecting the local environment and staying aware, you can fully enjoy the magic of the desert.

For your security, there is one Ring floodlight camera at the front of the house. There are no cameras inside the home.



-Cell Service-

Cell phone coverage is available at the property, though reception can vary by carrier.



-Damage Waiver Policy-

Each reservation requires either a refundable security deposit or a non-refundable damage waiver.
