The personnel is very friendly and ready to help and find solutions.
The guesthouse is a few minutes drive from Santana and from Porto Moniz which makes it a perfect base camp to explore the surroundings.
It is very quiet during the night, no traffic, no noise, perfect!
There is a restaurant and a cafe downstairs (the only one in the neighbourhood) which I didn’t try out.
The parking space near the property is limited.
There is neither a kettle nor a fridge in the room, it would be handy to have one at least in the common spaces so that one can be fully autonomous.
The building has its best years behind it, it might be a bit noisy when the house is full but that was not the case when I stayed here. I wished there was a rate taking into account the fact that I was travelling solo.

Wir waren eine Nacht dort im Zuge eines Wandertrips. Der Blick vom Balkon und die Lage sind total schön. Nachts ist es ruhig und was wirklich hervorragend war ist das Essen (a la carte), sowie das Frühstück.
Die Unterkunft an sich ist etwas in die Jahre gekommen, wodurch wir den Preis als nicht ganz gerechtfertigt empfanden.

De locatie en vriendelijk personeel
De kamer was erg gedateerd en was niet goed geïsoleerd. Tijdens de storm kwam er wind en regen in de kamer. Hierdoor was het ook erg koud.
