I don’t understand how this place has a 9 rating.
Location was ideal.
I chose this property based on the amenities that were advertised, but my experience was disappointing. One important thing to know is that the water park is not included with your stay, even though the resort listing can make it seem like it is. Access requires an additional fee with this room.
Arrival was also more confusing than expected. The resort is very large, and while I was provided with the room number and access code, there were no directions to help locate the unit. We ultimately had to stop at the front desk anyway to get a map and directions to the room.
When we arrived, the TV was not working. The remote had not been paired to the television, so it had to be set up before it could be used. After that, there was still an issue with the channels not coming in correctly. Fortunately, one of the boys in our group was able to troubleshoot and fix both issues. Had he not been able to, we would have been without a working TV.
The customer service was also inconsistent. It was very easy to get a response when it involved paying extra for early check-in or late checkout, but when I reached out with basic requests like an additional wristband or a blanket, I never received a response.
The room itself looked nothing like the photos. It was noticeably more worn than expected, with cracked floor tiles, a dresser that was heavily marked and beat up, scraped trim, and other visible signs of wear throughout. For the price ($743 for four nights), I expected a much better-maintained unit.
Overall, I don’t feel the accommodations matched the listing or justified the cost. Between the confusing arrival process, the maintenance issues, and the lack of responsiveness to basic requests, I would not choose to stay here again
