Beautiful, large, sparkling clean space in an excellent location. Wonderful balcony overlooking the church. Would definitely stay there again
We would have liked help with parking our rental car. Their message said there was a spot available but then there wasn’t and they weren’t able to give us help on public lots. Parking in Funchal is tricky.

The place is very clean, tidy, modern and well located.
1) The providers of the accomodation promised two bathrooms in the description of the place, but there was only one bathroom. So, we in fact paid for something which was even not included. This was really disappointing for us. 2) Right after our arrival, the host asked us to pay a city tax for 2 people in cash for a 7-day stay (28 eur). And now - already being back home from Funchal - I noticed that in one of the mails which I had received before our stay, it is said that the tax is already included in the total price... Maybe, it happened by accident (?) and I should have checked the situation while being in Funchal. 3) The bathroom needs some coat-racks because there is no place to hang towels/ pyjamas while taking a shower.
