The George Manhattan, Tapestry Collection By Hilton

Generally liked the room size and amenities I was given on October 9. Room staff did good work! Hotel feels secure.

I am older and asked in my reservation to be closer to the elevator; this didn’t happen, although I was ok this particular visit. Hotel should provide some kind of cup to use at bathroom sink. Bar should close at 11. Front desk staff cordiality is very uneven, sadly. Might be good if desk staff verbally acknowledged/welcomed returning patrons, especially if they have reserved additional rooms. Hotel should get rid of the current room door hangers; it is not at all clear how to use them as to “do not disturb” or “clean room please”. I have yet to get a saisfactory explanation n how to use them.

Very new and clean, close to several subway stations.

We were initially put in a room with no wardrobe closet and two very small drawers for clothes.

Staff were awesome

Hoped for spa treatment (difficult to find nearby)

Excellent location, polite staff.

No microwave, no refrigerator, no ironing board, no ice machines, no cups, late cleaning, the bar downstairs had no alcohol license. It just feels like they are charging a lot given this.
