Poor. Uncomfortable. Not worth the money. Smelly horrible old chalet.

The location is very good and close to Cobb shops and harbour. All amenities needed were provided.

When you arrive you can't get in the locked gate. You have to walk up a steep slope to the Chalet to open the lockbox to get the keys, walk back to the car about 300 yards, use the fob and drive up to the chalet. The two car parking spaces are minute and very difficult to access in a large car requiring multiple manouvres. I'd say only suitable for a Fiesta car size or similar. Having parked we couldn't open the doors, which banged into either a fence or wall! Upon entering the Chalet, there was a 'wet dog' smell which was disguised by air freshener, which soon wore off. The horrible dog smell was on everything. The sofa and dog hairs, the beds, the pillows. Awful. The front door key worked fine, but the back door didn't. We couldn't open it at all. All the windows worked, except the higher window in the double bedroom was blocked and wouldn't open at all. Upon opening all the windows to try to get rid of the dreadful dog smell, we noticed they are all filthy. The beds are extremely uncomfortable. The TV was tiny and wonky, but to be fair worked ok and signed in to WiFi fine. The whole chalet is very 'tired' requiring complete internal and external decoration and internal refit/modernisation. By modern standards and when compared with multiple other Booking.com or Airbnb stays, this Chalet is very poor indeed, well below par on almost everything and not worth the money. In fact it was so bad, that we cut our 3 night stay to 2 nights and simply went home! What a shame, because the location is very good indeed.

A great stay.

Location was great, very close to the sea, fossil beach, the harbour and shops and cafes. The host was flexible about our arrival and departure times and responded quickly to our emails.

Lovely quiet location in a beautiful town.

It’s in a quiet location and is well equipped for a short stay. It’s a few steps up from the bowling green but nothing like the other hills in Lyme Regis. Letting agent was very quick to respond to a problem with Wifi (caused by particularly windy weather).

It’s a small property so there is very little storage/cupboard space. Fine for a few days.
