Never again!

View and cleanliness. Nice kitchen appliances. Small washing machine.

No breakfast included. The entrance is on a dangerous, narrow winding road along Lake Como. Cars race by as you try to get to and from your car, making it extremely unsafe, especially at night. Owner made it very difficult to enter the property, as they wanted a specific arrival time, which is very inconvenient when you are trying to enjoy the area and need to stop to meet someone for the key. They said it was due to Italian law for paperwork to be filled out, yet there were no papers provided to sign. Sat in a chair at the desk, and it broke which made me fall to the floor and het hurt. This information and a picture of the chair were provided to the owner through their property manager, but not reply or concern given. The same with him being told of our safety concern on the main road and also parking issue. You need to be back before dark to secure a spot which again shortens your enjoyment of your day. One night there were no more parking spaces; the owner didn't tell us that to do in this case and we wokeup to our car being towed. That was an unexpected 270 euros to retrieve it. It was a very stressful experience. I would not recommend it to others. It may have turned out differently if the owner replied to our concerns and tried to assist us. But we never heard from him. Especially after I had fallen. Very poor customer service. If you would like an enjoyable, non-stressful stay on the beautiful Lake Como, I would recommend you stay elsewhere. They also charge an extra 14 euros for sheets and one towel and hand towel that were very rough feeling. I have never heard of a place to charge for sheets!!!!

Worth the money- clean, spacious, easy access & balcony veiw was 100%

The host was very reachable and explained us everything. Also waited for us to hand over the keys. The place is newly renovated with spacious rooms and baths. The property was very clean as well as accessibilzty from bus stop was just perfect. The balcony with the view made our stay at Breva E Tivan just wonderful

I did not like that there were several emails before the visit from Hostel world, from booking and multiple emails regarding the rules and regulations etc was unnecessary and made me nervous that everything will be very complicated. No spices in thekitchen, not even salt and pepper ( well i guess if there is no regulation from the booking platforms this could be made available)
