The worst experience ever.
The worst experience ever.
We booked the house for one week, but we had to leave after five days because there were head lice in the house. The owner completely ignored us and even ignored calls from Booking.com customer service. He did not reply to our messages or answer the phone. He did not want to communicate with us or help resolve the situation.
We had no choice but to book another hotel and buy treatment for head lice. As a result, we spent an additional €700 and experienced a lot of stress. It is extremely difficult and time-consuming to get rid of head lice.
The owner did absolutely nothing. His only response was a message saying that the house was “perfect”.
There were also other insects. My wife and daughter had several bites on their bodies from an unknown insect. There were also ants in the kitchen, living room and on the terrace.
The general condition of the house was also disappointing. There was no soap or washing-up liquid provided. The furniture and equipment are old and there was an unpleasant smell inside the house.
Additionally, there is air conditioning in only one bedroom, and it was not available for several hours during the day. In the August heat, the house became extremely hot and uncomfortable, making it very difficult to sleep.
Barbecuing was also not allowed.
I absolutely do not recommend this place. After our experience, I would not stay here again even if it were free.
