The owners were lovely and helpful and easy going. The cabin itself was rustic. We were provided with toiletries, complimentary water but no coffee or tea. When bugs crawled through the bathroom vent, the owner quickly assisted with boarding it up.
Hana was kind enough to arrange for a local guide to assist with trekking and a traditional Red Dao Bath.
It's a bit remote but is a great base for spending 2 or 3 days in the countryside. I booked for 4 nights but left a day earlier to spend more time in Sapa town.

Muong Hoa Valley View Farmstay delivered an exceptionally peaceful, authentic experience that looked identical to the photos online. Situated right next to the river, the setting is quiet and serene, making it effortless to unwind and feel completely at peace.
The hospitality made the stay stand out. The host family lives right next door and cooks fresh meals to order; both the beef pho and chicken stir-fried noodles were hearty, delicious, and full of flavour. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming, and full of genuine laughter.
Logistics tip for future guests: Direct car access to the property is not possible, so booking a Grab directly to the door will not work. Set your drop-off point to Le Gecko restaurant and walk down from there. The host met us and transported our luggage down via scooter, which made arrival straightforward and stress-free.
Highly recommended.

Very nice property. Right by the riverside.
Unable to have a driver or bike take you directly to the property. There is a short walk to the property.
