The Neighborhood:

The house sits in a quiet, residential part of west Newport, with green space, Roman history and some of Wales' best sport all on your doorstep. It's a calm base to come home to, with the city centre just minutes away.



🌳 Get outside

Tredegar House and its country park are a few minutes' drive away, with lakeside walks and huge grounds to explore. Belle Vue Park is a lovely Victorian park close to the city centre, and the Fourteen Locks canal centre is great for a weekend walk along the towpath.



🏛️ History and culture

Caerleon, about 15 minutes away, has some of the best Roman remains in Britain, including the amphitheatre and Roman baths museum. Back in the city, the Transporter Bridge over the River Usk is one of only a handful left in the world, and the Riverfront theatre has shows all year.



🍜 Food and nights out

Newport's city centre has a great mix of restaurants, cafés and bars, with Friars Walk and the revamped indoor market food hall both worth a visit. For something special, Cardiff's huge food scene is only a short drive or train ride away.

Newport Station is about 7 minutes' drive away, with direct trains to Cardiff in around 15 minutes and direct services to Bristol and London. It's a great option if you're commuting without a car.

The house sleeps 7 across three bedrooms, with the 7th guest using the sofa bed in the lounge. For groups of 6 or fewer, everyone gets a proper bed in a bedroom.



🚗 Vans and work vehicles

The large driveway has room for vans and work vehicles, with free on-street parking nearby for extra cars. Please park considerately and don't block the neighbours' driveways.
