Visit renowned châteaux such as Château Chasse-Spleen or Château Maucaillou and take part in exclusive wine tastings. Cycle or hike through the vineyards, take a trip to the Atlantic coast to Lacanau or Carcans-Maubuisson, stroll through the charming streets of Pauillac and explore Bordeaux on a day trip.

Veronique and Philippe were the perfect hosts for their beautiful home. As we were there during the hottest days ever recorded in French history, we took full advantage of the pool because the house does not have AC. I would imagine that normal "hot" days would not be a problem because the house has thick walls they provide fans. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the equipment you would need (in fact, we cooked dinner all 7 nights). The location has easy access to the best wine town in Bordeaux is just more than a half hour from the sea. We would definitely stay at this property again.
