About this cottage rental
Located near Northcott Mouth and the Cornish Coastal Path, The Breakers is ideally positioned for easy access to the beach and the seaside town of Bude. The house offers plenty of space for family holidays and serves as a comfortable base for exploring the North Cornwall coast. It’s well suited to families and friends looking for a relaxed coastal break.
Set on one level, the house has one king bedroom, with en-suite and three twin rooms, all with access to an electric blanket. The ensuite includes a walk-in shower, while the main bathroom features a bath with a shower over. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, fridge/freezer, gas hob, electric oven, washing machine and separate dryer. The sitting room opens through double doors onto a bay area with wide coastal views and a log burner.
Bude is a coastal town on the north coast of Cornwall, known for its beaches, sea pool and access to the South West Coast Path. The town has a mix of independent shops, cafes and restaurants, along with supermarkets and local services. Popular with walkers, surfers and families, Bude offers both outdoor activities and a relaxed seaside atmosphere throughout the year.
Guests have use of beach towels and bodyboards during their stay.
Nearby activities include surf schools, climbing, cycle and paddle boat hire, swimming in the Bude sea pool, and walking along the coastal path or the beach at low tide. For days indoors, options nearby include bowling, a swimming pool with wave machine and spa, a soft-play area, crazy golf, tennis, a golf course and a cinema about 20 minutes away.

Incredibly easy access to the coastal path as well as having Northcott Mouth beach on your doorstep were definite plusses. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped. The view from the living room was straight out of a postcard. The sheep in the adjacent field were a constant source of fun for the younger kids. In fact they thought the owners had arranged for them to pop by and say hello when we first arrived! Bude, just a couple of miles away, offered everything you might need on a vacation. We enjoyed the beaches, the huge outdoor pool on the beach, tried our hand at rowing on the canal and the kids had amazing fun playing on all the kid friendly amenities in the town. What topped it all off? The hosts. Right from booking Philippa and Nick were extremely responsive, helpful and really friendly throughout the stay. Our sincere thanks to both of them!

Absolutely wonderful holiday at this beautiful house. It’s comfortable, well equipped with kitchen equipment, books and games, spotlessly clean, enough space for everyone in our group to relax, and stunning sea views from the garden. Walkable to the beach and a 15-20 min walk along the cliffs or sand into town. We were warmly welcomed by the owners. We have stayed here multiple times before and it has never disappointed, we will be back!

Very clean and good furnished cottage. Good kitchen and lot of space. Lovely and silent. Friendly and careful owner. We loved to stay there with our mom. The surrounding is very peaceful. We will definitely come back again.
