It is a self catering facility and it is very good value for money. The towels and bedding and the facility was very clean and the host left nice things like tea and coffee and biscuits, toiletries and for the money we paid for it we couldn't really fault it.
If you wanted to be picky the shower tray could probably do with an update and there was some commotion from the pub along the road but the host couldn't help that and that can happen anywhere and it was only for a short time

Good location for visiting Alton Towers . Close to shops & places to eat. Comfort beds. Well presented.
Not cleaned very well. Dirty kitchen sides. Hair in shower. Front bedroom window does not close properly so noisy at night.

The cottage is beautiful, just what we needed. It felt so cozy and just like a home from home. Lockbox outside for easy access at any time you need. We'd definitely book again when we come back to stoke. The pub next door is so friendly - definitely worth a visit.

Location, parking,Wifi, access to property are excellent. I chose this property for previous reviews, it is small and has original features, could be outstanding with a few changes. It was a fair price for our two night stay as we were hardly there.
Smaller double bed felt it was too small for two average adults as mattress not good ; cleanliness as a towel left in shower room used, also fridge shelves dirty. Shower floor bouncy & unsafe & surrounded by mould.
