Whether you're looking to relax indoors or explore the surrounding area, this cozy cottage has everything you need for a memorable stay. Nestled on the banks of the Boardman River, renown for its Trout fly fishing, this secluded cabin feels like a page torn from a Hemingway novel. Imagine mornings where the mist rises from the water, the call of distance birds is the only sound to break the silence. This 3 bedroom cabin is crafted with tongue-&-groove pine, tile flooring, granite countertops and an impressive real-stone fireplace as the focal point. The cabin space is inviting; a modern kitchen with wooden peninsula bar seating, cozy living room, and bathroom with multiple vanities and 2 separate shower rooms all combine to make this a fabulous property. The outside screened porch is where you will find yourself gathered to share stories and tales of time spent on the river. The land slopes gently down to the water’s edge, where a private dock extends over the river and is a perfect spot to cast a line or simply watch the current carry leaves downstream. This is a very family friendly home, my pup had so much room to run around freely without his leash. It’s a very private location, child friendly and we felt safe the whole time. Traverse city is about 17 minutes from the house. 5 stars, we had an amazing trip. Well stocked on amenities you’ll need.

We had a girls weekend at the cottage. It was perfect for us! We loved the screened in porch to sit out and read and play games. There are comfortable chairs around the fire pit down by the river which also is a great place to sit and read.The beds were super comfortable. Bathrooms very clean and spacious. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!
