Extremely disappointing and unsafe accommodation – not recommended

We absolutely cannot recommend this accommodation, especially to families with children. The property should not be offered to guests in this condition.

Extremely disappointing and unsafe accommodation – not recommended Our experience with this accommodation was extremely disappointing and, in several respects, genuinely concerning. First of all, upon arrival we received a different address via WhatsApp from the host than the address shown on Booking.com. When we asked why the address was different, we were told that one address was for four people and the other was for two people. The adress were edited in the Website. This distinction had never been communicated to us beforehand, which was already very confusing and concerning. When we went to collect the key from the key box, an unknown man photographed us. This made us feel extremely uncomfortable and unsafe, especially since we had no idea who this person was or why he was taking photographs of us. After taking the key and opening the door, we were completely shocked by the condition of the property. The entire building appeared to be unfinished and under construction. The entrance, stairs, stairwell and corridors were in a terrible condition, covered in stone, mold, sand, dust and dirt. The corridor leading through the building was extremely narrow — less than approximately 40 cm wide in places — and my children were genuinely afraid to walk through it. The apartment was located on the second floor, which had also not been made clear to us beforehand. The entire building was undergoing renovation, including the upper floors, lower floors and areas surrounding the apartment. This was not simply a minor renovation taking place nearby; we were effectively staying in a construction site. The apartment itself was also in an unfinished and dirty condition. As soon as we entered, there was a strong smell of mould, dirt and dust. The walls were dirty, and there appeared to be dirty liquid or construction residue running down parts of them. The dishes and plates provided were dirty and had clearly not been properly cleaned.

Trendy, spacious apartment in a good part of town

The apartment was spacious and new with a view to the street. It was well located to the train station and lots of nice restaurants and cafes. I liked having a washing machine.

The shower has no door so floods water all over the bathroom floor which needs to be mopped up after each use. A shower curtain would be a good idea. Some more lighting over the bench would also be great. And finally the stair way up to the apartment is very narrow so be careful if you have a large suitcase (but this was not a problem for us).

Small cozy apartment with a great host.

Location was close to many bus stops and metro. Clean and smelled good. Great communication and host very accommodating and nice. Towels and sheets were available and clean. Apartment is on the second floor. One bedroom with a large bed, a single bed, and a fold out sofa.

The shower splashes water outside. Not sure how that could be prevented though.

Appartamentino ben arredato

Appartamento molto carino, arredato con gusto, in un bel quartiere con bar, ristoranti e supermercati e vicino al centro. Silenzioso.
