Terrible service
The only thing we liked about our stay was leaving!
We arrived at the hotel around 6:40pm, 20 minutes before the 7pm late check-in fee. However, the front desk staff only spoke Spanish, not English or French, as advertised. We tried to communicate our intentions, but they directed us to speak with Maria via WhatsApp. Maria informed us that we couldn’t pay at the property and sent us a PayPal payment link at 7:01pm. We then had to pay the late check in fee even though we have been trying to check in and pay for the past 30min.
We finally got into our room and started unpacking, but we couldn’t connect to the Wifi so messaged back Maria we then realized that she was sending us information for room 1403 but we were currently in room 501, so we let her know that. She then told us that we had to leave the room now and that this wasn’t our room we shouldn’t be there. Extremely upset we started packing our bags again and asked Maria for some sort of compensation for all of this trouble that they caused us, she then extremely bluntly and very passive aggressively said that we should’ve realized that this wasn’t our room it was much bigger than on the booking photos and was an error and denied any sort of reimbursement or compensation. This was at around 8PM so about 1h30min after trying to check in. Came back down got our right key from the front desk and finally put the bags down once again, tried to connect to the Wifi… still not working, Great! Message Maria AGAIN takes 5-10 to get back to us and she finally gave us the right password at 8:30PM 2 Hours after trying to check in. This wasn’t by far the worst “Hotel” reception I have ever received in my life, I never write reviews online, but this felt warranted.
Please do yourself a HUGE favour and DO NOT book this place extremely poor service, actually no service at all you have to do it all yourself and that is even if THEY don't give you the right room you have to find that out yourself.
