広々としていて清潔で整った空間、時計もテレビもなく、静かで落ち着いていて、居心地のよいお部屋でした。何も足さないシンプルさが好みの方には最適だと思います。
チェックインの方法が分かりにくく、お知らせメールを確認できたのが、宿に着いてからだったので、どうしてよいのか分からず、戸惑いました。入口に私たち向けの案内が掲示されていたと思うのですが、気が付きませんでした。(最終日他のお客さん向けの掲示を見つけました)
メールでは、お部屋番号が３号室、でもお部屋表示は黒味岳など屋久島の山の名称、部屋の見取図は、ABCとどれもマッチしていないので、統一してもらえるとありがたいです。
連泊でしたが、お部屋のお掃除、タオルの交換、ゴミ出しももう少し案内があると快適に過ごせると思います。
バスルームですが、お部屋にはシャワーのみ。温泉風呂は貸切１時間4,000円で、利用案内が、HPからも読み取れませんでした。温泉に入れると思い込んでいたので、とても残念でした。利用しませんでしたが、とても良い施設なので、もったいないと感じました。観光の中心がアウトドアの島、温泉に入りたいと思うお客さんも多いと思います。温泉利用者には、別料金設定でもよいので、自由に利用できるとよいですね。

We had a wonderful time at 2R Yakushima! The guesthouse is perfectly situated on the island, close to most major attractions and delicious food spots. The rooms are spacious, spotlessly clean and wonderfully quiet, and the host's eye for detail shows in the design of the rooms and in the amenities on offer. We also enjoyed the private onsen, which was an amazing, relaxing experience.
The host is simply amazing and incredibly thoughtful. Breakfast is prepared with your preferences in mind, and he gave us great recommendations for restaurants, hiking routes and activities. He even prepared a lunch set for our hike, ready at 3:00 in the morning! He also replies very quickly to any questions and is super helpful.
He truly makes sure you have the best time possible. Thank you so much for making our stay on Yakushima so unforgettable. We would recommend this place without hesitation!

事前に夕食場所を聞いたらレストランのURLが
四つほどただ無愛想に送られて来たが
地元友人に聞いたらどこも歩いて行ける場所ではないとの事 不親切かも
貸切風呂は4,000円
朝方から車の走る音がうるさい
